Our pod varies between 19 and 30 dolphin with 2-3 calves each year.

Their dorsal fins (on their backs!) are completely unique and by paying close attention to notches and shapes, each dolphin can be positively identified. We have over half of them named and know some of the mothers and babies.

As we travel we will usually talk about various dolphin individuals and you might even thrill to see a dolphin you remember next year when you return.
